Have you explored Drum Kit Designer? I do indeed think that the kit designer is a cool feature. Would have been even better if you would be able to pick more separate pieces then 3 per set, but with the gain and tune effects you can do a lot.

Drum Kit Designer certainly doesn’t have those samples. Yes will indeed buy some samples as the drum kit designer seems to enabling including purchased samples as well. The Intensity and Via sections work together so, for example, if you choose the Modwheel to affect the LFO in the Via menu, you can set the lower and upper intensity limits for the effect, depending on the wheel position.
The Mod Matrix is 20 modulations deep and most Sampler parameters can be modulated, so that should be enough wobbly options for anyone. If you drag an audio file to the Track column, you can create a Quick Sampler Track in the same fashion as you can for the Sampler. Simply choose the audio input, whether you want to monitor the input or not, click record and voila!
Once loaded, you can click the plus and minus buttons on each side of the panel display to scroll through the instruments. While EXS24 comes with some samples out of the box, you will no doubt want to add more. You can use the Cutoff knob to select the cutoff frequency, but the slope is set at 12 dB. Similarly the Band Pass is set at 12 dB. The Low Pass filter however has 6,12,18 and 24 dB slope options.
The fat button only works for Low Pass settings, and is used to thicken up the bass frequencies. Check out our guide on free music production software. The slider green arrow to the right controls the intensity of the modulation.
This intensity can be controlled as well, by selecting a parameter from via. When selected, an orange arrow will appear with the green arrow, and these can be used to set the min and max of the modulation intensity.
